Metsä-Weljet Oy was established in 1994. The main business is mechanical logging. Metsä-Weljet Oy has 5 harvester chains. Our equipment includes suitable solutions, ranging from first thinnings to heavy final fellings. All of our harvesters use modern measuring equipment systems and most of our forwarders use a loader weighing machine. In addition, Metsä-Weljet Oy has an excavator for soil preparation, stump lifting, etc.

Metsä-Weljet Oy is involved in the PEFC forest certification system and is a member of the Koneyrittäjien liitto (Association of Machine Entrepreneurs).  Our operations are guided by a quality system that has been audited by Stora Enso Oyj. The professional skills of our staff are developed and maintained through active training, which guarantees a high-quality work footprint. Our transporters know how to apply modern working methods productively and cost-effectively, whilst also keeping occupational safety in mind.
